Education and innovation in the 21st century: Opening Frontiers to the Business Market

As part of their global education strategy, The Economistevents, Microsoftand the BritishCouncil are jointly organizing in Athens, on February 28th, 2013 an international conference entitled “Education and innovation in the 21st century: Opening frontiers for the business market”.

As the global marketplace becomes increasingly demanding, the role of education is fundamental when it comes to business success. Subsequently, in times of turmoil the initiative of the three organisations undoubtedly is very timely.

The conference’s sessions shall mainly focus on skills development and strategy in education, the role of new technologies, entrepreneurship as well on best practices from Greece and abroad. At the same time, our speakers are invited to share their knowledge and experience with the audience, which will primarily consist of high-level representatives from Ministries from Greece and abroad, academics, experts from the lifelong learning field, business, NGOs, public and private institutions, local and foreign media.
By invitation only.
