Make Innovation Work: Make Greece more competitive

The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce is launching a pan-Hellenic competition under the titleMake Innovation Work: Make Greece more competitive” with a view to selecting and enhancing further the implementation of more comprehensive integrated innovative business proposals to be submitted in the following sectors: Green Energy, Tourism, Agriculture & Food, Transport and Shipping.

In this competition citizens and enterprises from Greece and the Greek diaspora shall be invited to participate, as well as persons residing in our country. The evaluation of proposals shall be carried out by teams consisting of academics working in University and Research Institutions in the US, Europe and Greece, and leading personalities of the Greek business community.

This initiative is co-hosted by the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Cisco, an established communications and computer systems company, which, thanks to its involvement in a similar and very successful initiative that took place in Ireland, can vouch for the success of this project.

The major supporters of this mutual effort are the following: Piraeus Bank, Accenture, Ernst & Young, Coca-Cola 3E, Chartis, Attica Ventures, Technical Chamber of Greece and finally Microsoft.
