European Satellite Navigation Competition 2012

Space for your business idea
The European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC) values innovation, especially when it comes to new business ideas involving satellite navigation. This is why it wants to give you the opportunity to present and promote your idea - and eventually put it into practice.

The prize pool of the ESNC is worth about EUR 1 million, which includes cash prizes, business incubation, coaching, patent consulting, prototyping and marketing support, access to customers and user communities, and publicity in the world's leading satellite navigation network.

No matter whether you are an individual or a team from a company, research institute, university, or start-up, what counts is your idea. We are looking for applications based on satellite navigation that use the technology in new and innovative ways.

To participate, first take a look at the more than 20 partner regions in the section "Regional Prizes" and choose the prize that best fits your plans for realising your idea. In addition to the regional prize, you can also submit your idea for a special or prototyping prize. Check out the sections "Special Prizes" and "Prototyping Prizes to see what our industry and research partners can offer you. For an overview of all prizes, click here.

The ESNC's overall winner will be selected from among all the regional and special prize winners. This means that submitting your idea for two prizes will raise your chances of becoming this year's GALILEO MASTER and receiving an additional cash prize of EUR 20,000.

This year, the database for your applications will be open from 1 April to 30 June. Don't miss your chance to get your business off the ground and submit your innovative idea before the closure of the database.
