The Competition invites people to come up with new solutions to social or societal issues and to create growth and jobs. Launched in memory of a social innovator Diogo Vasconcelos, the competition helps participants bring their ideas to life and further develop them in the Social Innovation Academy. The competition has been running for the last two years. 

The 2015 edition will be launched in Gdansk on 23 March 2015, on the theme 'New Ways to Grow'.  See agenda.

Launch of the 2015 RegioStars Awards

2-day training on EU instruments available for funding of research, innovation and competitiveness as well as on the legal issues ensuring compliance with EU rules. The training will be held in Brussels on February 11 & 12, 2015. Funding of research, development and innovation (R&D&I) is one of the key objectives of the programming period 2014-20. All Member States are encouraged by the European Commission to invest in this sector. Additionally, various new funding instruments are being introduced.

OrangeGrove is the international center for startups initiated by the Netherlands Embassy in Athens, offering mentoring and coaching, networking opportunities, an educational program, accounting and legal support and office facilities in the center of Athens.

Cooperation project to develop and/or promote a European cultural route around luxury goods (pilot phase)

The objective of the present call is to support the development and promotion of one (new) European Route around one high-end / luxury product, to test the possibility of developing synergies between the tourism and the high-end industries at European level.
